we were thinking of toys as "toys" as in auxilary percussion. I think it's a general agreement that we get a bells stand, too. after that, a whip (slapstick), temple blocks, finger cymbals, and all of the other acoutrements of a fine percussion section. i think we are also going to wait until we have all the music for this fall before ordering anything, though. oh, and another tympani would be nice so that I can actually play the parts...
as for merry lea, I was supposed to move in today, but I got an email from LR yesterday that said something to the effect of "oh, by the way, maple scholars doesn't begin until june." I called her and she said that I would be moving in the first full week of june. We'll see if that works out... I think I'm already going insane, and I haven't even started working with the freakin' woman yet! I don't know about how much I will be around goshen on weekends because the traps need to be checked every day. but the cool thing is that I get to use a tranquilizer gun. the bad thing is that I don't have access to a phone in case I shoot myself in the foot. wish me luck! anyway, i'll see ya when you get back later this week, and you'll have to tell me all about your mayterm, and especially about the hotsprings! ;)
Mmm...I like to hit things...
